Scripture Reading

Philippians 3:7-19

Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his power. 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in[b] God, who created all things, 10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. 13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
Prayer for Spiritual Strength
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family[c] in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God

News and Info

Church Workday

On Saturday, November 12th starting at 9am, we will be gathering at the church building to work on a few tasks that need to be done regardless of the outcome of the vote. If you can, please join us! Check out the ongoing task list and "signup" below:

You're Invited to Pray

I don’t know about you, but this image is what my brain looks like right now. The scary and sad headlines (not only from the world, but from within our church) are coming fast and furious, but the Holy Spirit is inviting me to pray.

In seasons like this, it is my tendency to look for the solution in leadership, in other people around me, in money or circumstances, in myself…but the absolute fact of the matter is, the way forward can only be found in God. As you continue through this week, above all else I invite you to do one thing: pray.

Pray for those who have hurt you. Pray for those whom you have hurt. Pray for those who have left. Pray for those who are still here. Pray for provision. Pray for direction. Pray for peace. Pray for wisdom. Pray for clarity. Pray for honesty. Pray for humility. Pray for understanding. Pray for patience. Pray for God’s grace to extend not only to you but through you to others. Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray for God’s will to be done and ask Him to align your heart with it. If you’re angry, pray about it; sad and grieving, pray; nervous, anxious, unsure, confused…pray about it all.

Just pray.

Night of Worship

One of the ways we can express our worship is through music. At ID, we enjoy coming together to lift up our praise for the glory of God both on Sundays as well as other evenings spent in song and prayer. Our upcoming Night of Worship is scheduled for November 11th at 6:30pm. We would love to worship side by side with you!

Ongoing Updates

Corporate Prayer Night

Every 4th Monday from 6-8pm (with a few exceptions) we have an opportunity to gather in our church Café and pray together. The next Corporate Prayer Night is November 28th. Whether you are able to join us for the entire evening or just a short time, you are welcome!

Care Calendar

We often have the privilege of caring for each other through hardship as well as walking together in celebration. At ID, a tangible way we do this is to provide meals, grocery help and childcare for those experiencing a few extra burdens or blessings. Click a button below to be taken to a current care calendar and then enter the code.

ID 101 Class (Membership)

Two times per calendar year Imago Dei Elders host an ID101 Class. This class is an excellent way to get to know a bit more about our church, and is the first step toward becoming a Covenant Member. Click the button below to be added to a list with email updates about upcoming classes.

Covenant Gathering

Covenant Gatherings are our "Family Meetings!" They are a quarterly opportunity to get together to share a meal, have fellowship and to hear updates about areas of ministry in our church. Because we are in a season with so many transitions and lots of information that needs to be shared, our Covenant Gatherings are open to both Covenant Members and non Covenant Members. Please feel free to join in. Our next Covenant Gathering is scheduled for October 30th.

Child Dedication Meeting

Children are a gift from the Lord and, as such, they ultimately belong to Him. At Imago Dei, supporting parents in raising their children to know and love Jesus is very important to us. If you are interested in more information regarding Child Dedication, click below to fill out this short form and we will reach out to get you the details of the next Child Dedication Meeting.
